Now, the majority of cars on this list are from Tata. The Tata Tiago ranks first and is the cheapest Tata car you can get with CNG and an AMT gearbox (factory-fitted). The CNG automatic variant of the Tata Tiago is priced from Rs 8.08 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) and stretches to Rs 9.79 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
The Tiago is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol CNG engine and pairs with a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The Tiago’s CNG powertrain with AMT gearbox has a claimed ARAI mileage of 28.06km/kg.

Nissan Magnite
The only car on this list that isn’t a Tata car is the Nissan Magnite. Tata Motors has recently expanded the CNG automatic option to its premium hatchback, Altroz. The CNG Altroz is powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine and delivers a claimed mileage of 26.2km/kg. If you want a more premium CNG AMT car than the Tiago, you can get the Altroz – which has some extra features and tech. The pricing for the Tata Tiago CNG AMT ranges between Rs 9.96 lakh and Rs 12.49 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Tata Punch
