Upcoming Skoda RS Cars – Kodiaq RS
Pricing for the Kodiaq is yet to be revealed, but it has already been sold out. Its official launch is still pending and is set for the first week of July. The RS shares a majority of its components with the standard model.
Key differences include a sportier look, DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control), and a stronger tune for the 2.0-litre TSI. The performance figures are 265 bhp & 400 Nm, which represent a 62 bhp & 80 Nm improvement. If you are one of the lucky ones to have managed a booking, this extra power will come at a price. As a CBU unit, the Kodiaq is expected to cost between Rs 60 lakh and Rs 65 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Skoda Octavia RS
The Octavia RS will be making a comeback in the Indian market later this year. And this time around, its pricing could be spicier. With the India-EU FTA, imported European cars could become cheaper. If the deal is active before the launch, we could see the Octavia RS being priced between Rs 50-60 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). So if you are interested in one, you have until the end of this year to save up the money.
This second batch of units would be identical to the first. This means that it would get the potent 2.0-litre TSI engine that produces 261bhp & 370Nm of torque.

Upcoming Skoda RS Cars – Kylaq RS
Skoda has revealed that it is considering the Kylaq with a 1.5-litre TSI engine. If the 1.5-litre TSI from the Taigun is used on the Kylaq, it could possibly sport the fabled vRS badge. However, unlike other RS models, it won’t be an import and will be manufactured in India. Don’t get your hopes up, as it would still be quite expensive. The feature list would remain the same, but the aesthetics would be more aggressive.
Due to the 1.5-litre TSI engine, the Kylaq will no longer be eligible for the sub-4m tax rule and would be taxed like bigger vehicles. If it gets the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, it could be priced between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). We could see it being launched in the latter months of 2027.
