3 Upcoming Maruti Cars With 30 Kmpl Mileage!

3 Upcoming Maruti cars

Maruti is planning to take the innovative route this time to offer mileage figures that have been unheard of, but with the same selling point – affordability. The brand is working on a new hybrid powertrain, which will allow for impressive fuel efficiency figures without any expensive technology. Industry sources suggest that the brand is working on a series hybrid setup, which essentially means that the engine will act as a generator and charge up the battery on the go. This is quite a convenient way to maximise fuel efficiency and get EV-like range without having to go through long charging times.

Maruti has already introduced its new 1.2-litre NA petrol Z-series engine, which can be a part of the future hybrid powertrains for Maruti. There have been instances where the Fronx was spotted testing with a powertrain. We do expect Maruti to introduce the same powertrain in the Swift as well as the Baleno. We believe that the Fronx and Baleno will also get a facelift, which will include this new powertrain as well as some new features, while the powertrain will be introduced in the Swift without any other changes.

We believe that both the Fronx and the Baleno will get a slew of new features along with the new powertrain. Expected features include ventilated front seats, a powered driver seat, a single pane sunroof, a larger touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster and much more. As Maruti is expected to make the hybrid powertrain affordable and accessible to many, we believe Maruti will only charge a premium of around Rs 1 lakh over the top models of these 3 cars. This will attract more buyers and allow for great fuel efficiency.
