JSW Jetour T2 Spotted!
Thanks to its partnership with Chery Automobiles, JSW will bring the Jetour T2 to India, albeit with a different name. The Jetour T2 is sold in many international markets, and now India will join this list. From these spy shots, we can see that the design language has remained unchanged compared to the global-spec model. The boxy stance and high ground clearance give it solid road presence. Not to mention, we can also spot a boxy tailgate-mounted storage compartment designed to mimic a spare wheel.
The test mule has been well camouflaged, but its unique design lets you identify it from a mile away. If you weren’t aware of this car before, you might even mistake it for a Range Rover Defender. Furthermore, in a market that desires road presence, the Jetour T2 seems like a definite hit.

Features & Specifications
We expect the Indian-spec model to be offered with an identical list as the global-spec model. Some of the expected features include –

Most importantly, it will be a PHEV. The Jetour T2 is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol motor mated to a 26.7kWh battery pack. It sends power to all 4 wheels via its 3-speed DHT gearbox. With the Jetour T2, you can enjoy great off-road performance and high torque without constantly worrying about mileage.

JSW Jetour T2 Spotted – Expected Launch & Pricing
The Jetour T2 is expected to launch this festive season (October 2026). Initially, it is expected to be launched as a CKD unit, which could mean the prices would be high, at around Rs 45 lakh to Rs 50 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). But JSW has announced plans to heavily localise production, which would significantly lower prices. The Jetour T2 is heavily anticipated in India and will definitely liven up the automotive market; if JSW prices it aggressively, it promises to be an instant success. JSW has many other cars lined up, and the Jetour T2 will give it a good head start in the market.
