The answer is YES! Skoda will launch a second batch of the Octavia RS, the most powerful Octavia to date. While the launch date for the same has not yet been confirmed, we do know the launch timeline. At the Skoda Experience 2026 premier, where the brand launched the Kushaq facelift, it also gave us a glimpse of the timeline of the rest of its cars.
According to this timeline, another batch of the Skoda Octavia RS will make it to the Indian shores in Q4 of 2026. So, we can expect to see the Octavia RS around the festive season, and it will likely be sold out within minutes just like the previous batch. While the previous batch only included 100 units of the premium sedan, we hope that Skoda brings in more units. Design And Features
The Octavia has always been a handsome-looking car, and the RS versions have always been subtly aggressive. However, the current Octavia RS is not subtle at all. It is loud, sporty, and looks like the things it is capable of doing – go fast! The aggressive front bumpers, a boot-lip spoiler, blacked-out elements and twin exhaust tips highlight the fact that this is a true “RS”. Stepping inside, you will feel cocooned in layers of leather and suede, along with red stitching everywhere to scream “RS”.
The cabin feels premium, feature-rich and comfortable while still creating a sporty environment for enthusiastic driving. The Octavia RS gets a slew of features like a 10-inch instrument cluster, 3-zone automatic climate control, a 12.9-inch touchscreen, a head-up display, powered front seats with massage function and the list goes on. Skoda has done a great job in making the Octavia RS safer with 10 airbags, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera and much more.

Skoda Octavia RS Launch – Powertrain And Pricing
Nobody buys the Octavia RS because it is feature-rich or looks good; they buy it for the performance on offer. Under the hood is a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 265bhp and 320Nm of torque, along with a slick-shifting 7-speed DSG. The chassis has been tuned and worked on to offer a fun-to-drive experience and incredible handling. When the first batch of the Octavia RS was launched, it was priced at Rs 64.11 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), and we believe that it will carry the same price tag for the second batch as well.
