Hyundai XCent Engine

Hyundai XCent is made available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that will churn about 81bhp of power and 115Nm of torque. This engine will come mated to a five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmission options. This engine has low NVH levels at the same time, it is comfort and easy to drive. The clutch is light and can be driven in comfort in the city or on the highway. To make those overtaking moves, one needs to downshift. In city also there is still the need to downshift a bit too often. The power is linear and there is sufficient torque to cruise even when you lug into a higher cog.

The 1.1-litre U2 diesel engine on the XCent produces about 70bhp of power and comes with a five-speed manual. The Hyundai XCent’s this engine has a good amount of vibration at low engine speeds. There is sufficient power to drive in the city or even on the highway, but what this engine lags is turbo boost. Power is linear just like any petrol engine.
