New Audi A4 spied ahead of India launch

The 2016 Audi A4 has been spotted testing in India, ahead of its launch. New Audi A4 will be launched by mid-2016. This new generation of the sedan is a lot different from the existing one and this will be introduced to spice up the competition in the entry-level luxury sedan segment.

The new-generation C-Class and XE are already here and the 3 Series has also got a facelift recently. The A4 will be competing with the other Germans and the Jaguar XE. This will be a new strong and fresh product from Audi.

New Audi A4 price

The Audi A4’s pricing will see a bump up and this will be coming for about INR 43 lakhs to INR 53 lakhs (on-road). This will be the company’s all new sedan that will have a lot more features and hence the bump up in the pricing as well.

New Audi A4 Engines

The Audi A4 will be coming to India with a 2.0-litre diesel engine that will churn about 140/177bhp of power and will come with a six-speed manual and automatic transmission. The petrol will be the 1.4-litre and 2.0-litre turbo petrols. There will be four options available for an Audi A4 buyer. As the demand for petrol engines will rise in the NCR due to the diesel ban, Audi will not want to leave any stone unturned.

New Audi A4 Exterior

The new Audi A4 is the biggest A4 ever. This is even lighter than the outgoing version due to the use of lighter alloys on the sedan. The looks of the new A4 might look a bit similar to the currently sold version and one could believe so, unless you see the two together. The A4 is larger in dimensions and the design is a lot more chiseled that makes it looks sharper. A similar design language is carried forward on the A4, but it now looks a lot more stylish than before. The tail lamp design is new and we could see a similar trend being carried forward on to the other sedans as well.

The new Audi A4 has an all new interior. The interior styling is similar to the Q7. There is a new steering wheel with a redesigned AC vents that run from the centre console to the co-driver’s air-con vent. There is the new gear knob like the Q7 and a lot more features too have been added. There is the new MMI interface on the A4. The A4 has a lot more features that are added to it and it will even get more knee room for rear passengers. The increase in wheelbase has helped to enhance the space at the back. Audi has done a good job for the rear passengers.
