It sells high volumes throughout the country. What does it have? How much does it cost? We tell you in detail. The changes are minimal as Maruti wanted to refresh the Alto 800 against the newly launched Datsun RediGo and the Renault Kwid. We find out more about the Alto 800.

Maruti Alto 800 Design

The Maruti Alto 800 has a new face. The Suzuki badge is found on the bumper instead of the the grille. The new front grille is slimmer and almost non-existent. The front bumper design is new as also the rear bumper. These are the major changes on the Alto 800 facelift’s exterior design. The side profile and the rear portion remain identical to the earlier car.

The seat head rests are fixed. Maruti has provided scooped out back on the front seats. This adds that extra knee room for the rear passengers. There are front power windows and the new three-spoke steering wheel is carried forward. the instrument cluster is simple and the side AC vents are circular. The in-dash music system has USB and aux-input. The Alto 800 logos from the inside have been replaced. Now, the design looks a lot more subtle than before. There is even a bottle holder behind the hand brake lever. This can accommodate one bottle only. There is no space to keep any more large bottles in the Alto.
