Volkswagen Taigun

The Volkswagen Taigun has witnessed a decline in sales throughout 2025. To boost its sales, Volkswagen are offering discounts across the Taigun range. As expected, the lower variants receive the largest discounts. The Comfortline manual trim gets a discount amounting to Rs 1.04 lakh. Higher variants like the Highline Plus AT and GT Line AT get discounts of Rs 80,000-1 Lakh. These variants get the 1.0L TSI engine as standard. If you want the more powerful 1.5L TSI, you choose the GT Plus variants. These variants get an exchange bonus of up to Rs 50,000.

There is a small catch to avail these discounts. These discounts are limited to 2025 production models. Moreover, Volkswagen are planning a facelift for the Taigun soon. The current Taigun remains a solid alternative to the Creta. With the Taigun, you get a 10-inch infotainment screen, a fully digital instrument cluster, a sunroof and front ventilated seats. It misses out on ADAS and a 360 parking camera, but otherwise, the feature list is solid. But the Taigun makes up for it in the safety department as it scored 5-stars in NCAP tests. Before the discounts, the price range starts at Rs 13.51, and the GT Plus trim goes up to 22.70 Lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). This could be the best time to get your hands on the Taigun.
