Punch Facelift Variants Explained
Tata Motors has teased the variants & features of the upcoming Punch facelift. As per the teaser, the SUV will be available in 6 variants. So, let’s take a look at each of the variants and the features they will offer.

Smart
This will be the base variant of the Punch facelift. It will come with features like –

Pure – Variants Explained
Next, we have the Pure variant which will get features from Smart variant, including –
- Rear AC Vents
- Steering Mounted Controls

Pure+
On upgrading to Pure variant, you will get additional features like –

Accomplished +S – Variants Explained
And finally, it will be the Accomplished +S variant which will be the most feature-loaded variant. This variant will pack features like –

So, these are all the variants of the upcoming Punch facelift and their respective features. Also, we can expect more features that Tata Motors will likely reveal at the time of the launch. Talking of which, the Punch facelift is scheduled to be launched on the 13th of January 2026!
Engine Specifications
Along with the new design & feature list, the Punch facelift will also come with a new engine. It is currently offered with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine (87bhp & 115Nm) – paired with a 5MT & 5AMT gearbox options. This engine has always been criticised for its underpowered nature. To compensate for that, Tata Motors will be offering a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that will likely produce 118bhp & 175Nm of torque. This is a similar setup to the Altroz Racer. Having said that, the new engine will be paired with a 6-speed MT gearbox. The CNG option with the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine will also be part of the pack.
