Maruti e Vitara Safety – Another 5-star Maruti

Maruti e Vitara Safety

Maruti has again shook the country, by achieving a 5-star safety score. This time with its new e Vitara. The model was tested at the Bharat NCAP crash test facility – whereby it scored a rating of 31.49 out of 32 for Adult Occupant Protection, while it scored 43 out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection. Interestingly, it scored similar points like its sibling Maruti Victoris, which proved to be the safest car in India.

Talking about the score, in the Frontal offset deformable barrier test, the Maruti e Vitara offered adequate protection to the driver’s chest and tibia’s, while the other body parts of the driver and front passenger dummy received good protection. In the side test, all parts of the dummy received good protection. This shows Maruti’s focus on making its SUVs safe.

What Else?

Now, revealing the safety score even before launching this model has given a commendable start for the brand. It shows how the brand is now desperately offering multiple safer cars in the Indian car market.
