Skoda has invited us to a Skoda Experience 2026 event, scheduled to be held on January 19 and 20. The brand, however, has not revealed any other details apart from the dates. But, we think that Skoda might be cooking something. We expect that Skoda will most likely launch the Kushaq facelift. We say so because test mules of the Kushaq have been spotted multiple times, hinting towards the facelift underway.

With new features and a few cosmetic upgrades, the Kushaq facelift may be launched at the Skoda Experience 2026 event. However, we believe that Skoda may launch not one, but two cars at the event, which could be introduced on the second day of the event. Now, these are just speculations, but we expect Skoda to launch the Slavia facelift. In a few spy shots, a test mule of the Skoda Slavia was spotted alongside the Kushaq test mule. So, we could get to see the Slavia facelift on January 20. But what would the cars get in their facelifts?

What might remain unchanged is the 2 engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine (114bhp & 178Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (148bhp & 250Nm). We could expect the facelifts of both cars to get a price increase of around Rs 1 Lakh on the top-spec trims over the existing prices. On the other hand, the base trims will likely see a minute increase in price. The Kushaq carries a price tag ranging from Rs 12.79 Lakh to Rs 22.13 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The Slavia is priced between Rs 11.86 Lakh and Rs 21.26 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
