New-Gen Kia Seltos Teased!

That’s right! After a long wait and a plethora of spy shots, Kia has finally dropped a teaser, giving us a glimpse of the upcoming Creta rival, the Seltos. In the teaser, Kia has revealed the front grille design along with a start-up sequence of the headlights and DRLs. The Kia Seltos is scheduled to be revealed on December 10, 2025. The new-gen Seltos has been spotted multiple times in India as well as in international markets. However, this is the first time that we were able to get a glimpse of the front in undisguised form.

The front grille gets a unique design with chrome and black elements. In the video, the new headlight design is also prominently visible, with DRLs on the side along with LED headlamps with a three-stripe design. Apart from that, a few more images from Kia show new design elements like new alloy wheels, a connected LED taillight design, and much more to set it apart from the existing model. Kia has yet to reveal any other details about the Seltos, as this was the SUV’s first teaser. However, there are a few details we know so far about the upcoming Seltos. So, let’s dive into the details!

Specs And Features

One of the key highlights of the new Seltos would be that it will be almost 100mm longer than the existing Seltos. This will allow for better comfort and space in the second row. Moreover, the new Seltos will be offered with a plethora of new features. Expected features include:

• Trinity screen setup (Triple)
• Powered and ventilated front seats
• Rear ventilated seats with sliding and reclining function
• Level 2 ADAS
• Powered tailgate
• Auto Park

Apart from the features, the Kia Seltos will likely get the same engine options as in the existing model. These include a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. However, rumours suggest that the new Seltos may get a hybrid powertrain setup. It will be interesting to see if Kia goes through with the hybrid powertrain for India. With that in mind, we can expect the Kia Seltos to carry a price tag ranging from Rs 13 Lakh to Rs 25 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
