Now, before we start nitpicking with the missing features of the Sierra, let’s take a look at what all the SUV has to offer!

  1. Extendable Thigh Support – a feature brought down straight from luxury cars!
  2. FDD Suspension – Frequency Dependent Dampers, a promise of the best-in-segment ride quality.
  3. 12-Speaker JBL Black Sound System – competitors offer a maximum of 8 speakers.
  4. AR Head-up Display – Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara gets HUD, but Sierra has AR enabled.
  5. Triple Screen Layout – a highlight of the Sierra’s cabin! Comprises a 10.25-inch Digital Instrument Cluster, a 12.3-inch Touchscreen System & a 12.3-inch Passenger Touch Display.

Now, let’s take a look at 5 missing features –

Sierra Missing FeaturesPowered Co Driver Seat

Sierra Missing Features - Creta powered co driver seat

While the Sierra gets a powered driver seat with memory function, the co-driver seat gets manual adjustment. Now it is not a big omission; however, the Creta gets this and could have been included in the rather feature-loaded Sierra.

Powered Boss Mode

Another feature that Creta gets but the Sierra misses – Powered Boss Mode. With the amount of rear seat space it has to offer, powered boss mode could have enhanced the overall luxury experience. That said, it does get boss mode, but it has to be done manually. Another reason we feel it should have been there is the fact that Tata Motors was the one to introduce this feature in the affordable segment with the Safari.

Sierra Missing Features – Rear Wireless Charging Pad

Sierra Missing Features - creta rear wireless charger

Again, not a deal-breaker feature, but absolutely a good to have. Tata Motors has focused significantly on rear seat comfort, and the addition of a rear wireless charging pad would have made a lot of sense. The Hyundai Creta is currently the only SUV to get this in the segment.

Dual Dashcam

If not dual, a front recording dashcam could have been a part of the standard equipment. Yes, the brand is offering it as an accessory, but the Creta gets it on its higher variants. Also, if we really have to ask more, the digital IRVM from Harrier.ev, which gets dual-recording functionality, could have created more trouble for the competitors!

Sierra Missing Features – R-Comfort Seats

Sierra Missing Features - Tata Curvv R-comfort seats

It sounds familiar, right? Well, Tata Motors recently gave a minor upgrade to the Tata Curvv. The updates included new features like R-comfort rear seats. The highlight of this feature is that it has a passive ventilation function! So, although the Sierra does not get full-fledged rear ventilated seats, the brand could have shared R-comfort seats from its own Tata Curvv!
