Upcoming Mahindra 7-Seater SUV – Interior Teased

In a recently released teaser, Mahindra has revealed interior details of its upcoming electric SUV. Being a teaser, the Indian automaker has worked well on revealing things that it wants too. That said, the teaser showcases an interior layout similar to its XEV sister. Other highlights include – triple screen setup, sliding second row seats (might have recline function too), huge panoramic sunroof, three-row seating, two-spoke steering wheel. 

Apart from the teased ones, other features expected on the model includes a Harman Kardon sound system, ambient lighting, powered and ventilated front seats, Level 2+ ADAS, 7-airbags and more in its package.

Design & Specifications

The exterior details of the models have also been teased – while the front is expected to follow the XEV design language, the rear will be inspired by the Mahindra XUV700. Additionally, Mahindra omits the glass roof on the model, instead offering a panoramic sunroof. The SUV will rival the likes of the Tata Harrier EV, the Vinfast VF7, and others in the country. 

The brand has not yet revealed any details about the battery pack details. However we expect it to get the same options from its sister eSUVs – a 59kWh and 79kWh. Mahindra might also offer an AWD configuration with the model. But, for its confirmation – we would need to wait till Mahindra teases something more.

Launch & Price

The new Mahindra XEV 9s will be launched on 26th November 2025. Talking about the pricing, we expect the 7-seater eSUV to be priced between Rs 23 lakh and Rs 34 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Are you excited for this 7-seater?
