New Mahindra 7-Seater SUV Launch Date Confirmed!

Mahindra XEV 9S Launch Details!

Mahindra has announced that it will be launching its first-ever electric 7-seater SUV called the XEV 9S. Along with that, the SUV-maker has also revealed that the launch will take place between November 26 and 27, at Mahindra’s ‘Scream Electric’ event. Although Mahindra has not revealed the design of it, we have a rough idea of how it is going to turn out. The SUV has been spotted multiple times on its test runs, and we have also come across a few patent images. While the upcoming XEV 9S bears a resemblance to the XUV700, Mahindra has confirmed that it will be a born EV, based on the INGLO architecture, which the existing XEV 9e and BE 6. But apart from these details, what can we expect from the new Mahindra SUV?

What’s New?

While the design of the SUV is clear from the above picture, we can expect a few tweaks in the production version. Apart from the design, we expect the XEV 9S to be just as feature-rich as its siblings, the XEV 9e and BE 6. Expected features include a triple screen setup, Harman Kardon sound system, 7 airbags, HUD, ambient lighting, dual wireless chargers, powered front seats, panoramic glass roof, ADAS suite and more. We also expect the model to carry the battery pack options from the XEV 9e, a 59 kWh and 79 kWh. However, Mahindra might also offer an AWD configuration, to bring it on par with the Tata Harrier.ev in terms of specs and performance. We expect Mahindra to price the XEV 7e between Rs 23.60 Lakh and Rs 34 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
