The brand has not yet hinted on specifying anything regarding the launch of Activa CNG. According to us, Honda might let the Jupiter CNG launch first, before announcing anything to check the buyers behaviour. This is majorly to tap the market before investing any costs onto it, which can later turn to be unwanted.
At present, the only CNG two-wheeler available in India is the Bajaj Freedom 125 (first CNG bike), which isn’t a major hit for the brand in terms of sales. That said, at present, it’s hard to expect a CNG powered Activa in the country.
On the contrary, the brand has been investing a good amount to facilitate the infrastructure for the electric version of Activa. With Honda’s battery swapping tech, the Activa e: can be a success for the brand once it starts with the swapping stations all across the country. Apart from that, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer will keep on updating its 110cc and 125cc Activa.
