Kia Seltos New Features – Expected Features Over Hyundai Creta
Auto Parking –

The new-gen Seltos was spotted with several 6-7 parking sensors, hinting towards a possibility of Auto Park feature. It is not yet confirmed, but we can expect the new Seltos to get a fully auto park setup, else with some features like auto parallel park. This feature will help owners to park the vehicle in tight spots.

Ventilated Rear Seats –

Another feature that Kia might add on the Seltos is the ventilated rear seat function. The same was offered with the Kia Syros, and most likely this feature can be carried over to other models. In Kia Syros, the rear ventilation is offered only with the seat-base – with Seltos, the brand can offer full ventilation feature (comprising top and base of seat).

Trinity Screen –

Another feature that can likely make its way from Syros to the Seltos is the trinity display. The screen comprises a digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment and 5-inch climate control screen.

Reclining & Sliding Rear Seats –

To offer more comfort, we expect the new-gen Kia Seltos to get a reclining and sliding rear seat option. Most of the cars in the segment have the reclining feature, but the sliding feature helps to increase the legroom.

Hybrid Engine –

The last one actually is not a feature, but a new engine. The new gen Kia Seltos is rumoured to get the 1.6-litre hybrid engine from the old Hyundai Kona hybrid sold internationally. The claimed mileage on the new model is expected to be around 25 kmpl. However, it is not confirmed yet.

Launch Timeline –

Talking about the launch, the new-gen Kia Seltos is anticipated to debut by the first half of 2026. Pricing-wise, expect a small bump in the pricing over the current model. We expect it to cost between Rs 13 lakh and extend up to Rs 28 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
