Tata Motors Sales – Claims 2nd Spot On the Sales Chart

Tata Motors have now claimed the second spot on the sales chart, leaving behind the likes of Mahindra & Hyundai. For some months, the brand was lagging behind these two automakers. However, in August, Tata pushed back Mahindra claiming the second spot – and in September, it successfully clinched the second spot.
In the preceding month, Tata Motors registered a total sales of 59,667 units. This number also includes sales of EVs – which is 9,191 units. The major push in the sales came on 22nd and 23rd September, yes the day when the new GST structure was live. On that day, the brand claimed to have made sales of around 10,000 unit sales.
The GST reform reduced the prices of some hot Tata SUVs including Nexon, Punch – which caters a massive demand in the country. Moreover, with reduction in prices, many buyers even moved towards buying big Tata SUVs too like the Harrier and Safari.

Apart from that, the brand has already launched the new Harrier EV. Both these SUVs are expected to generate more numbers for the automaker.
Apart from that, the reduction in price is also expected to boost sales for this festive month. Having said that, we expect the brand to flourish more in sales in this very month.
