Nissan SUV Launch Date Confirmed!
That’s right! Nissan has confirmed the unveiling date of its upcoming Creta rival. On October 7, the Japanese brand will unveil its C-segment SUV, which will share most of its components with the upcoming Renault Duster. Much like the older Renault Duster shared most of the components with the Nissan Terrano, the new Nissan C-segment SUV will borrow components from the existing Duster, available in international markets. The new Nissan SUV has been spotted testing in India before, giving us a glimpse of its silhouette.

What To Expect?
The Dacia Duster that is on sale in international markets gets a slew of features along with a hybrid powertrain. The Nissan SUV is likely to get a similar design with a few more Nissan elements. Nissan has previously teased the SUV, giving us a peek at its design. This Nissan C-segment SUV gets design elements like L-shaped connected LED DRLs, a boxy and muscular design, multi-spoke alloy wheels, roof rails, a shark fin antenna and much more. In terms of features, we can expect a 360-degree camera, an ADAS suite, a large infotainment screen, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats and much more.
Nissan may borrow the powertrain options from the existing Dacia Duster. In international markets, the Duster gets strong hybrids as well as plug-in hybrid options with some of those powertrains including AWD. We expect the Nissan SUV to get a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine producing 150bhp and 250Nm of torque. It could also receive a strong hybrid powertrain, allowing the SUV to compete directly with the Maruti Grand Vitara.
