Triumph Bonneville 350 Details

We all know that Triumph might be working on a new 350cc engine to tackle the GST 2.0 reforms and offer even more affordable bikes. New details out suggest that Triumph may bring in a 350cc bike under the very popular Bonneville nameplate. The bigger Bonnevilles have been key products in Triumph’s lineup, and many closely associate the nameplate with the brand. Like the existing Speed 400, Scrambler 400 and the newly launched Thruxton 400 are smaller capacity versions of the original bigger capacity bikes, the Bonneville would bring a lot more buyers. The Triumph Bonneville is a modern classic motorcycle with a retro charm and heritage-inspired design. A 350cc Bonneville will directly compete with the best-selling 350cc bike, the RE Classic 350. Like the bigger Bonnevilles, the 350cc version is likely to feature spoke wheels, a flat seat, a large round fuel tank and much more.

What To Expect?

While this is still speculation, it is likely that Triumph will use the same 398cc engine and bring the capacity down to 350cc. We expect Triumph to focus more on low-end and mid-range performance with the Bonneville 350, to match the character of the motorcycle. But the engine will likely remain a liquid-cooled unit, unlike the Royal Enfield Classic 350, sporting an old-school air-cooled engine. Triumph’s 350cc engine might still make more power and torque than the Classic 350cc. We expect around 25bhp and 30Nm of torque along with a 6-speed gearbox. It is likely that Triumph may launch the 350cc bike around June 2026. It will be interesting to see how the Bonneville 350 will fare against the very popular Classic 350.
