Above 350cc Bikes Prices Post GST 2.0
Scrapped your plan of buying a powerful bike due to the GST 2.0 effect? Well, you don’t need to hold your plan now! Why? Some bike-makers have announced to not increase the prices of the above 350cc models despite the GST hike, to benefit the buyers.
Bajaj –
Firstly, Bajaj made a bold move by announcing to not increase the price of made-in-India Triumph and KTM models. The list of models that will be sold at the old price include Triumph Speed 400, Triumph T400 and Thruxton 400 (from Triumph lineup), KTM 390 models and Bajaj’s 400cc models in the country.
Aprilia –
Aprilia has also extended that it also won’t increase the price of its faired sport RS457 and the street naked Aprilia Tuono 457 models in the country. This decision will help the brand to have an upper hand amongst its rivals.
Harley Davidson –
Lastly, Harley Davidson has stated that it won’t let the new GST 2.0 affect the price of its X440 model in the country. That said, it will be sold at its old price. This move is expected to help the brand to generate more sales going forward.

GST 2.0 – New Marketing Strategy?
When it comes to competition, brands always try to have an upper hand in the game. With the new GST 2.0 affecting the prices of certain bike models making it more expensive, several brands have suggested to not change the price and instead bear the loss itself. However, it is not clear if this thing comes with a deadline, but we will know in the coming future.
