Maruti Alto Lapin interior leaked – EXCLUSIVE

Last time around, we had shared Maruti Alto Lapin’s exterior sketch.

Now, we have even got an image of the Alto Lapin interior for Indian car market. The small hatchback will have retro styling and at the same time will have one of the most spacious interiors too. The Alto Lapin will be a revolutionary affordable Maruti product for India, that will be stylish, affordable, feature loaded and at the same time even spacious. Maruti Suzuki has been working on multiple new small cars, one has been the new-generation Alto and other is a small SUV that will be placed below the Ignis. The Alto Lapin might be considered to be sold through Nexa Experience range.

The Alto Lapin will come with the gearbox mounted on the dash board. This will free up space in the centre giving more storage space option. The Alto Lapin will be powered by a 660cc petrol engine that will be soon introduced in India. Maruti Suzuki is looking at downsizing its engines and the Alto Lapin will be one of the first to get this engine. We could even expect an AMT with this engine and even a 660cc turbo petrol engine too. Maruti Suzuki is looking at downsizing its engines and the 796cc is one of them. If it is sold through Nexa, then expect an automatic to come instead.

Suzuki has customised the Alto Lapin interior in multiple ways. This new hatchback has different types of interior colour options and it does look appealing.

With the retro look, Maruti will be able to add more to the styling of its new hatchback.

The Alto Lapin will be manufactured in Suzuki’s new upcoming plant in Gujarat. It seems that the new Alto will be exported from India to several other markets including Japan.
