The Fiat Uno 2017 has been spied testing in Brazil. The Uno which is one the most successful cars from Fiat, is due for a facelift and it will be launched by end of this year in Brazil. Despite the heavy camouflage the new fender is clearly visible. The Uno 2017 will lose the famous squares on the grille that were present since the launch of the model in 2010. The 2017 hatch will gain even more content and thus distance themselves from Mobi. The interior also will be refurbished.

The 2017 Uno will get a brand new grill with two slats and a honeycomb structure behind it. The bumpers have been restyled too. A new set of alloy wheels comes in with similar squares pattern. Other changes include an new  electric power steering mechanism instead of the hydraulic unit. The Start-Stop system will now be available across all variants as standard.

The hatchback will feature electronic stability control (ESP) and traction control (ASR). With ESP and ASR the car vehicle can be controlled automatically and it results in better active safety. The system senses when the car is unstable and reacts in a split second, activating the brakes or reducing the torque according to the situation. The 1.3-litre versions will have the ESP and ASR, as for 1.0-litre, it will be offered as optional.

Engine options in Uno will be the new GSE 1.0-litre unit which will also do duty in the Mobi at a later stage. Also there is a 1.4-litre unit with around 100bhp of power. This unit will also power the Palio and the new Punto (X6H) which is under development.
