Maruti Fronx Delta+ (O)

Until now, Maruti had five variants – Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, & Alpha. Now, the brand has introduced the new Delta+ (O) variant which will be slotted between the Delta+ and Zeta variants. In terms of equipment, the Delta+ (O) variant gets everything from the Delta+ variant. However, the new variant additionally gets 6-Airbags against 2-Airbags from the Delta+ variant.

Engine Specifications

The Delta+ (O) variant will be offered with the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine. This engine produces 89bhp and 113Nm of peak torque and is mated to both manual and AMT transmission options. The Fronx also has a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine which produces 99bhp and 148Nm of peak torque. This unit comes mated with manual and torque converter automatic gearbox. Unfortunately, the Delta+ (O) variant does not get an option for the turbocharged engine while its lower variant, the Delta+ gets.

New Maruti Fronx – Pricing 

The new Delta+ (O) variant has been priced at a premium of Rs 15,000 over the Delta+ variant. That said, the Fronx Delta+ (O) manual has been priced at Rs 10.50 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Whereas the Delta+ (O) automatic variant has been priced at Rs 11.08 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
