Honda is working on the new-generation model of the Amaze. It is going to get comprehensive changes, including a new platform that also underpins the Elevate and City. The design of the new Amaze will be in line with Honda’s global sedans. In the interiors, the new Amaze could come with a new dashboard layout. The new dashboard could come with a floating infotainment system like the Elevate. Other new features could include a premium sound system, automatic AC, powered mirrors, leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, etc. Honda could take it a step further if it offers a sunroof and ADAS on the new Amaze. Under the hood, it will continue with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The new Amaze is expected to be launched just before the Diwali of 2024.

India’s best-selling sedan is also going to its new-gen update. Maruti has already launched the new Swift, and the Dzire is just the sedan version of it. The car has been spotted testing a few times, having design cues similar to the new Swift. We could see some changes over the Swift in the form of new bumpers, headlights and a new tailgate design. In the interiors, the layout could be similar to the new Swift. However, the Dzire could get new things like a sunroof and 360-degree camera compared to the Amaze. It will also come with the new 1.2-litre Z series engine like the Swift. The Dzire is also expected to be launched in a similar time frame to the new-gen Amaze.
