Spotted testing

Tata Altroz Racer

A test mule of the Altroz has been spotted testing with an ARAI emission kit. The car also comes with a sticker saying that it is an ARAI test car. Considering the new engine option coming on the Altroz Racer, it does seem likely that ARAI would be testing it. In the interior sneak peek, we also see a bigger floating infotainment system like the one we saw on the concept model.

What things to expect?

Tata Altroz Racer

Talking about the Altroz Racer, it comes with some noticeable changes in the exterior like a stylish black bonnet and white strips that extend up to the roof. We also have blacked out alloy wheels and an extended spoiler. The real deal is under the hood, as it comes with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 118bhp and 172 Nm of torque that also powers the Nexon. In the interiors, we get red highlights on the dashboard and centre console. Feature-wise, it had ventilated seats, 6 airbags, reverse parking sensors and a 10-inch infotainment system.
