Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the all-new Suzuki Access 125 scooter starting at INR 61,170 (on-road, Pune). The Suzuki Access has gained decent popularity over the last few years and is a preferred scooter for many customers.

Kenji Hirozawa, VP, Sales & Marketing, SMIPL said “The new Suzuki Access 125 is our flagship scooter. Equipped with revolutionary SEP technology, it combines the best of both worlds – power and mileage.”

He further added, “This launch reflects our understanding of the Indian consumer and their needs, and is a manifestation of our efforts in catering to the same.”

The new Access 125 that rivals the Honda Activa , sports a SEP engine, inheriting the latest technology developed by Suzuki from its MotoGP racing experience. It will also be available with an optional front disc brake and alloy wheels. The new Access is equipped with the Suzuki Easy Start System, which is the first of its kind on any two wheeler in India.

The New Suzuki Access gets a heavy styling update. It has a new headlamp which has a thick chrome surround which looks premium. The front panel is also all new and now has elongated indicator lamps on either side with a plain flat middle part. There is a new stylish mudguard in the front that is a much need improvement over the earlier model. The Suzuki Access 125 now gets new 12-inches five-spoke alloy wheels which add to the style quotient in this scooter. The rear alloy wheels are 10-inches. New side panels have a contemporary look and taper towards the rear. These panels have a chrome bold 3D logo that reads ‘Access 125’. The exhaust in also new and has a chrome cover fitted on to it.

The tailpiece is also restyled and gets a new large taillamp. The taillamp has a chrome sill on the top and the indicators are clear lens ones. There is a large grab rail at the rear which  offers good utility.

Another refresh in the New Access 125 is the instrument panel which looks fresh. It has a white background and a neat speedometer which is analogue. Rest of the information like fuel gauge and new twin tripmeters are digital. The switchgear remains the same as the earlier model. There is a small pocket on the inside panel for added utility and can hold a 500ml water bottle.

The Suzuki Access is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine that produces 8.5bhp of power and maximum torque of 10.2Nm. It gets a continuous variable transmission (CVT) gearbox providing smooth power delivery and acceleration.

The New Access 125 comes is five new colors – Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Candy Sonoma Red, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matt Fibroin Gray and Glass Sparkle Black.
