Apollo Tyres, one of the leading tyre manufacturers, better known for its commercial vehicles and passenger cars has now stepped into the two-wheeler tyre space with it new range of motorcycle and scooter tyres.

The company has unveiled a range of motorcycle and scooter tyres called actiGrip, actiSteer and actiZip. These tyre sub-brands have been segregated as per their application on the front or the rear wheel and also their pattern.

Commenting om the development, Onkar S Kanwar, Chairman, Apollo Tyres said, “This is a milestone for Apollo Tyres as the entry in to the two-wheeler segment makes the company a full range player. The presence in the two-wheeler segment will help the company cement its leadership position in India. The Apollo Acti series will provide the best value proposition to outr customers, alongwith an enjoyable driving experience.”

Apollo tyres decided to venture into this market as it is growing at a CAGR of 8.5%, in India and has a huge potential for tyre manufacturers. Lately, quite a few tyre manufacturers also have entered this space.

Apollo Tyres will be present in the mass two-wheeler tyre market currently and later it has plans to enter the premium motorcycle segment with radial tyres. The company aims to reach a sales figure of 500,000 tyres per month, in the next two years.

The new range of Apollo Tyres will be available at all authorized Apollo dealers in all major markets across the country.
