Nissan is surviving solely on the sales of the Magnite in the country. It has several products in the pipeline including the X-Trail and an entry-level electric car. Till then, Nissan is employing the smart tactic of bringing special editions of the Magnite. It has teased the Kuro edition of the Magnite, but what does the Kuro edition pack? In today’s article, let’s talk about the Nissan Magnite Kuro edition.
Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition
Nissan is also bringing the second special edition of the Magnite with the ‘Kuro’ edition. Before the Kuro, we had the Magnite red edition. The Kuro edition is essentially a blacked-out version of the Magnite as Kuro means black in Japanese. The Kuro edition will be available in both engine options. It will also come with a new AMT gearbox on the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine.
In terms of changes, it will come with a blacked-out exterior and interior. On the exterior, we have Onyx Black colour with a black grille, skid plates, roof rails, black alloys, headlamps with a black finish and Kuro badging. On the inside, we again have the blacked-out treatment on the door pad and instrument cluster. Some standout features on the Kuro edition include a front armrest, rear AC vents, wireless phone charging and a 360-degree camera with around view monitor.
Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition – Launch and rivals
Nissan has opened the bookings for the Nissan Magnite ‘Kuro’ edition. Prices of the car are expected to be announced in October. The Magnite Kuro edition could be Rs 30k to 40k more expensive than the equivalently specced variants. The Magnite will continue to rival the Renault Kiger, Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter and Citroen C3.
