Tata Punch EV – Expected Launch Date

Some sources have revealed that Tata Punch EV would be launched in late October, just before the festive season. Tata Punch EV will be slotted between the Tigor EV and the Nexon EV. So anyone who is waiting to bring the Punch EV at home, your wait might end very soon!

What we know so far?

Tata Punch EV interior spied

Tata Punch EV has been spotted multiple times and overall it is the same product as the ICE version of the Punch. Meaning, it is the Punch inside-out with some additional features and a battery pack instead of engine and transmission.

Talking about the features the Punch EV could possibly get an electronic parking brake along with a rotary gearbox. It may also get features like an air purifier and a wireless charging pad.

The charging point of the Punch EV however is placed on the front grille, unlike to the side as seen on other Tata Evs.

Tata Punch EV Specifications

On the specifications front, Tata Punch will be equipped with Tata’s Ziptron Technology and might share the figures with the Tigor EV. It could get the same 26kWh battery pack that produces 73bhp and 170Nm of torque. The said battery pack comes with a claimed range of 315km on the Tigor and similar figures are expected on the Punch EV with a real-world range of 200km to 250km.

Tata Punch EV Expected Price

Tata Punch EV will sit between Tata Tigor EV and Tata Nexon EV. That said, we can expect the pricing to be competitive as the Punch EV will compete with the Citroen eC3.
