The SUV segment has seen a lot of activity in the last few months. The compact SUV segment has seen the most activity with a lot of cars like the Magnite, Punch, etc. Now Maruti has launched the Fronx, which is more of a crossover. But still, the brand states it as an SUV. So how does the Fronx stack against the Magnite? In today’s article, let’s talk about Fronx vs Magnite.

Magnite vs Fronx

Let’s first start with the dimensions of the Fronx. The Fronx is 3,995mm in height, 1,765mm in width & 1,550mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 2,520mm and a ground clearance of 190mm. On the other hand, Nissan Magnite measures 3,994mm in length, 1,758mm in width & 1,572 mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 2,500mm and has a ground clearance of 205mm. Length-wise, both cars are the same, but Fronx has a better wheelbase leading to better legroom. In comparison, the Magnite has better width and height, giving it more space in that aspect.

Fronx vs Magnite – Which should you buy?

Magnite vs Fronx

So both the Magnite and Fronx are quite evenly matched on paper. In Fronx, you get the Maruti support & reliability, features and a turbo petrol engine. Also, though the design is subjective, the Fronx is one good-looking car. The Magnite punches back with its features and value-for-money pricing. Another thing is that the Magnite is a 4-star crash test car. The same can’t be said about the fronx. So, in the end, it depends on what your priorities are. If peace of mind is your thing, go eyes closed with the Fronx. While if you are looking for a value-for-money deal, go for the Magnite.
