Ferrari 488GTB launched at INR 4.2 crores (on-road)
Ferrari, the Italian Supercar company has launched the Ferrari 488GTB at a starting price of INR 4.2 crores (on-road, Delhi). The The 488GTB is a unique sports car and its name has historical importance. The 488 indicates the engine’s unitary displacement and while GTB stands for Gran Turismo Berlinetta, suggesting it to be a legendary car.
Ferrari 488GTB Styling and Design:
The 488GTB is designed by Ferrari’s own design studio and is designed with the best aerodynamics. The front portion of the 488GTB incorporates a dual grille opening that directs air into the two radiators. There is double front spoiler which resemble Formula-1 cars. The centre has a raised portion on the bonnet and the headlamps are elongated ones with built-in LEDs. The channels on the side channel the air from the two vents in the bumper which are cleverly hidden.
Ferrari 488GTB Dimensions:
The new Ferrari 488GTB is 4568mm in length, 1952mm in width and 1213mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2650mm and a fuel capacity of 78 litres.
Ferrari 488GTB Engine and Performance:
The new Ferrari 488GTB is powered by a 3.9-litre, V8, twin turbo-charged, petrol engine that puts out a maximum power of 660bhp at 8000rpm and a maximum torque of 760Nm at 3000rpm. This engine is mated to seven-speed F1 dual clutch transmission. The new Ferrari 488GTB accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3 seconds and can reach 0-200km/h under a 8.3 seconds. The Ferrari 488 GTB is capable of stopping from 200-0 km/h in just 117 metres.
