Mahindra is making moves in the SUV segment. Since 2021, Mahindra has upped its game with SUVs like the XUV700 and Scorpio-N. Both the SUVs are raking in good sales and have a big backlog of bookings. Mahindra knows that it will have to continue the momentum by bringing in more SUVs. Now new information regarding two new Mahindra cars has surfaced. In today’s article, let’s talk about these two new Mahindra car.

The XUV300 is Mahindra’s compact SUV offering in the country. Though not as popular as other compact SUVs, the XUV300 is raking in decent sales. However, its sales are affected by its outdated design and interiors. To counter this, Mahindra is working on the XUV300 facelift. Now for the first time, the XUV300 facelift has been spotted in testing. This seems like an early prototype as it comes with temporary lights and weird tail lamps. We have an upright grille design and sloping bonnet. At the rear, we have an upright windshield and big reflectors. What about the launch? XUV300 facelift could be launched by the end of 2023 or early 2024.

New Mahindra car – Thar 5-door

New Mahindra car

Mahindra has been working on the Thar 5-door for some time now. The normal Thar is ruling the lifestyle SUV segment, but it lacks the practicality to be a family car. So Mahindra is working on the Thar 5-door offering better interior space. Now Mahindra has confirmed that it will not be launching the Thar 5-door this year. It plans to launch the SUV sometime in 2024. What else do we know? The Mahindra Thar 5-door will get a different design than the normal Thar. In the interiors, we can expect new upholstery and some new features like a bigger glovebox, new centre armrest and a bigger infotainment system. The Thar 5-door could come with a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Transmission options could include a manual and an automatic gearbox.
