Honda Elevate spotted testing ahead of launch!

Honda is hyping up for the launch of its newest SUV, the Elevate. The Elevate is Honda’s first proper SUV in the Indian market, and it will want to do well for the brand. Honda is rigorously testing the car in various parts of the country, and now new spy shots have emerged of the SUV testing in Honda’s home country, Japan. In these new spy shots, we can see the proper proportions of the Elevate. In today’s article, let’s talk about the 2023 Honda Elevate. 

New spy shots

The spy shots were posted by @kyamkyamn on his Twitter profile. The images were taken on a highway in Japan. At the front, we can see the upright grille with sharp headlamps. DRLs come in the upper part of the headlamps. The side profile is upright with no major cuts and creases. As we come to the rear, we can see a Brezza-like taillight design. 

What else do we know?

In its latest teaser, Honda confirmed that the Elevate will come with an electric sunroof. The Honda Elevate is almost certain to come with hybrid tech. According to reports, the Elevate is going to come with a 1.5-litre petrol and the same engine with strong hybrid petrol. Transmission options will include a manual and an e-CVT. In terms of features, the Elevate is expected to come with a digital instrument cluster, a big infotainment system, Honda safety Sensing (ADAS) etc. 

2023 Honda Elevate – Launch timeline

Honda has already confirmed that it will be unveiling the Elvate on 6th June 2023. We expect Honda to reveal the pricing of the car a few months after the unveiling. What about the pricing? The Honda Elevate is expected to start from Rs 12 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Once launched the Honda Elevate will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara etc.
