This is the reason why popular cars get regular updates to keep them ahead of the competition. Now some top-selling cars could get a major update soon. In today’s article, let’s talk about these popular cars in 2023.
Kia Seltos
The Seltos as a product helped Kia set up its base in the country. For a few months, it was even the best-selling SUV in the cutthroat C-SUV segment. Though the Seltos still looks contemporary, Kia is working on its facelifted model. In this facelift, we have a new front fascia with an updated grille and bumpers. At the rear, you get new Vertical shaped tail lamps with sequential turn indicators. In the interiors, you have a new dashboard layout and digital instrument cluster. Other changes include a rotary gearbox and updated seat upholstery. The Seltos facelift is also expected to get ADAS.
Popular cars 2023 – Tata Nexon
One of India’s best-selling SUVs is soon going to get a much-needed update. Since its update in 2019, the Nexon hasn’t received any major updates. To be fair to Tata, it has kept the Nexon fresh with constant updates and new variants. Currently, Tata is testing the Nexon facelift. The facelifted model is going to get a design similar to the Curvv. Interiors are going to get a major upgrade with a two-spoke steering wheel, floating infotainment system, digital instrument cluster etc. The Nexon facelift is also going to get a proper automatic gearbox. Tata is expected to launch the Nexon facelift by August 2023.
Tata Safari
Tata is throwing the full kitchen sink in the SUV segment. After the Nexon, Tata is expected to launch the Safari facelift. Earlier this year, Tata launched the Safari with new features like ADAS, digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, new ESP modes etc. However, in this update, Tata didn’t update the design. Now Tata is coming with the facelifted model in 2023. In this, we will have a design refresh with a design similar to the Harrier EV. We can expect a new headlamp and grille on the facelift. Tata could also tweak the interiors and change the steering wheel on the facelift. Tata is expected to launch the Safari facelift by September 2023.
Tata Harrier
Like the Safari, the Harrier is also expected to get the same updates on the facelift. The Harrier will also get some design changes and we really hope Tata differentiates the Harrier and Safari this time. Harrier facelift will get a design similar to the Harrier EV. So we can expect a bonnet-wide DRL and headlamps placed near the bumper. We can also expect a new steering wheel on the Harrier facelift. Tata is expected to launch the Harrier facelift in a similar time frame to the Safari facelift.
Popular cars 2023 – Hyundai Creta
With Seltos getting an update, how can the Creta miss out? The Creta is also due for a facelift and Hyundai is working on it. According to reports, Hyundai is working on a new facelift for the Indian market and it is not the Tucson-inspired one. So we can expect some slight tweaks in the design. Hyundai could change the grille and bumpers. In the rear, we can expect reworked tail lamps. Coming to the interior, Hyundai could do some minor tweaks with the upholstery and dashboard. Feature-wise, we can expect ADAS, a 360-degree camera and a digital instrument cluster on the facelifted Creta. The Creta facelift is expected to be launched sometime in 2024.
