2 new Kia cars coming this year!

Kia continues on its merry way in the Indian market. Kia’s success has been nothing short of a fairytale as it straight away hit the ground running. Now, Kia wants to continue the momentum going forward. It is yet to launch any new product in 2023 but in the second half, it is coming with a bang. Kia has plans to launch 2 new Kia cars this year. In today’s article, let’s talk about new Kia cars. 

Kia Seltos facelift

The Seltos has been instrumental in Kia’s success in India. It successfully took on its platform sibling Hyundai Creta. Even now, the Seltos doesn’t feel outdated, but Kia is bringing its facelift. It has already launched the car outside India and is now testing the car in the country. The Seltos facelift comes with a slightly tweaked headlamp design and new tail lamps. Interiors also get new touches and several new features. Recently, the Seltos was spotted with a panoramic sunroof and ADAS. Specification-wise, we can expect the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine on the facelift. The Seltos facelift is expected to be launched by August 2023. 

New Kia cars – Kia Sonet facelift

Kia’s second mass-market car, the Sonet is also going to get a facelift. Last month, the Sonet facelift was first spotted testing in South Korea. Through the camouflage, we spotted the slightly tweaked design in the form of a new headlamp design and slightly tweaked bumper. The Rear also had some minor tweaks with new L-shaped tail lamps similar to the Seltos facelift. In terms of interior and features, the Sonet is already the most feature-loaded car in India. It could tweak the upholstery to some extent and add some features like a cooled glovebox, heads-up display, ADAS, electric driver seat etc. Specification-wise, we don’t expect any changes. The Sonet facelift is expected to be launched by the end of this year.
