SUVs are the talk of the town currently. It is not so much about the SUV factor, people just want something with higher ground clearance. All manufacturers have started offering high-ground clearance on their cars. Last year, Tata launched the Punch which rejuvenated the small SUV segment. Now Maruti has launched the Fronx, which is not an SUV but more of a cross-over. The prices do overlap a bit, so which one should you buy? In today’s article, let’s compare Punch vs Fronx.
First, let’s talk about the dimensions, the Punch is 3,827mm long, 1,742mm wide & 1,615mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 2,445mm and has a ground clearance of 187mm. In comparison, the Fronx is 3,995mm in height, 1,765mm in width & 1,550mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 2,520mm and a ground clearance of 190mm. In most aspects, the Fronx triumphs over the Punch. But being a crossover, the Fronx lacks the sheer height offered by the Punch.
