Hyundai Exter design revealed! Looks big
The SUV segment continues to see stellar growth in the country. All types of SUVs are in high demand including the Tata Punch. The Punch rejuvenated the dead small SUV segment and now Hyundai is also entering this segment. Hyundai’s Exter has been in the news and now Hyundai has revealed the design of the Exter. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Hyundai Exter 2023.
Design
Last week, we saw the uncamouflaged spy shots of the Exter. Now Hyundai has taken the wraps off the design. In the rendered images, we can see the upright grille design with projector headlamps placed adjacent to it. We have the H-shaped LED DRLs integrated into a black band above the grille. Other than that we have a sculpted bonnet and silver skid plate. As we move to the side, we can see lots of cuts and creases. What about the rear? The rear isn’t revealed in these photos, but we can expect a connected trip in the middle and H-shaped tail lamps.
Hyundai Exter 2023 – Specifications
The Exter is rumoured to come with no petrol options but will miss out on a diesel engine. The two petrol engines could be 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol. What’s more? The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated could come with a CNG option. In terms of transmission, we could see a plethora of options with manual, iMT, AMT and a proper automatic expected.
Expected features
Hyundai will be looking to load the Exter with features to take on the Tata Punch. We expect features like a sunroof, 10-inch infotainment, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, wireless charging and much more.
Hyundai Exter 2023 – Launch timeline
Hyundai has started posting teasers of the Exter, hinting that the launch of the Exter is just around the corner. We think the launch could happen in May or June this year. What about the pricing? The Exter could start somewhere around the Rs 6 lakh to Rs 7 lakh mark (ex-showroom). It will rival products like the Citroen C3, Tata Punch and Maruti Ignis.
