The new Hyundai Verna is almost here, and Hyundai is hyping up the launch by revealing new details. We have been covering a lot of things from spy shots to the price expectations of the new Verna. The all-new Hyundai Verna comes with a plethora of standard safety features. Some of the important standard safety features include 6 airbags, all 3-point seatbelts, seat belt reminder (all seats), rear defogger, ISOFIX, and emergency stop signal. Other safety features include ESC with VSM, hill start assist control, all disc brakes, Electronic parking brake, TPMS etc. It’s commendable of Hyundai to offer so many features, but hopefully, it has also improved the overall structural integrity of the Verna. 

Hyundai Verna safety – ADAS is here!

As we have been speculating for a long time, the Hyundai Verna comes with ADAS. Hyundai has given it ADAS level-2, which is a segment first. The new Verna comes with front & rear ADAS features. So ADAS features include Forward collision warning, forward collision avoidance assist (car, pedestrian, cycle, junction turning), blind spot collision warning & avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, driver attention warning, safe exit warning, adaptive cruise control, rear cross collision & avoidance assist, high beam assist & leading vehicle departure alert. 

What else do we know?

Hyundai is slowly revealing new bits of the new Verna ahead of the launch. For starters, it is going to get a futuristic design and powerful engine options. Engine options include new 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol. Other revealed features include heated & ventilated seats, switchable audio and media controls, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a 10.25-inch infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster.

Hyundai has already confirmed that it plans to launch the new Verna on 21st March 2023. It has already opened the bookings for the new Verna. The new Verna will rival products like the Honda City facelift, Maruti Ciaz, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia.
