India’s very first car to achieve a 5-star safety rating from GNCAP now holds the crown by being the top-selling Tata car in India. Now, with its recently launched, Red Dark edition, the car has always stayed open to offer varied variant lists along with flamboyant editions. This has made the buyer choose the Nexon depending on his own budget and requirement. Another major aspect which has lured buyers to the car is its safety quotient. Tata Nexon safety – Improved in the facelift?

The new Nexon facelift which is likely to be uncovered next year has been spotted testing on Indian grounds. The new model which is expected to get changes in the exterior as well as interior could also bump in more safety. The visible body lines below the camouflage indicate that the muscular aspect of the Nexon is likely to mount. The car is set to follow up the signature LED DRL treatment with an eyebrow-shaped unit like the Punch and Harrier. Apart from this, the rear is likely to get the connected taillamps setup which is now the ongoing trend in the market. What about the interiors? The interiors of the Nexon could get a major revamp with a larger touchscreen infotainment system, new digital instrument cluster, updated dashboard layout and more.

Tata Nexon safety – How? 

Tata has recently introduced its ADAS technology in the special edition of the Harrier and Safari. With these two being the flagship products, Tata might also give Nexon the same update. As it’s the limelight product for the brand, giving it this feature would only increase its popularity. Therefore the chances are very high that Nexon facelift could get ADAS. In addition, the Nexon could come with 6-airbags, which will be another major boost to its safety.
