2023 Tata Nexon spied revealing new design

The Nexon has quickly risen in popularity claiming the top spot in SUV sales. Tata has done well by updating the Nexon with special editions and new features. But now Nexon requires a major design update to take on the competition. Tata knows it and has started working on the new Tata Nexon. Last month, the New Nexon was spotted testing and now we have new spy shots of the new model. In today’s article, let’s talk about the 2023 Tata Nexon.

The spy shots were sent to us by one of our readers, Chaitanya. The spied car is covered in heavy camouflage, but we can spot some new design highlights. For starters, we can spot muscular fenders on the side profile. As we come to the front, we can spot eyebrow DRLs similar to what we see on the Punch and Harrier. We can see an upright front grille and headlamps placed adjacent to them. The Nexon might finally get LED headlights too.

What else to expect?

The new Nexon has been in the spotlight for quite some time now. We have talked about the front, but the rear is also expected to get a connected taillamp design. What about the interiors? The interiors are expected to get a new layout with a bigger infotainment system. Other new features could include ADAS, digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera etc. In terms of specifications, we can expect the new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that Tata showcased at the Auto Expo. Other than that, we will also see the 1.5-litre diesel engine that currently does the duty on the Nexon.

2023 Nexon – Launch timeline

Tata has been quite tightlipped about the launch timeline of the new Nexon. However, the car has been spotted multiple times in the last few months. This could hint that Tata is fast-tracking the development of the new Nexon. What about the expected launch? The new Nexon could be launched by the end of 2023 or sometime in 2024.
