The new Hyundai Verna is just around the corner. Hyundai has already started the promotional activity of the Verna. We have even seen the undisguised spy shots of the new Verna. From the spy shots, it is clear that the new Verna is going to be a lot more premium than the outgoing model. So what will be the pricing of the new Hyundai Verna? New Hyundai Verna price expectations
Jumping straight to the price part, the new Verna will be bigger and more premium than the outgoing model. Currently, the Verna petrol starts from Rs 11.27 lakh and goes to Rs 17.18 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). We expect Hyundai to add a premium of at least Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh on the base variant. So the new Verna could start somewhere around Rs 13 lakh to Rs 13.5 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Higher variants could get a bigger price hike due to the added features like ADAS, 360-degree, bigger infotainment etc. The higher variants could touch the Rs 22 lakh mark (on-road, Mumbai). So the price range of the new Verna could be from Rs 13.5 lakh to Rs 22 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
What else do we know?
The new Verna has been spotted undisguised revealing most of its design. Hyundai has given the new Verna a futuristic design. Specification-wise, we have a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine. Both engines come with manual and automatic gearbox options. Feature-wise, we know that we will see new features like a heated & ventilated seats, switchable audio and media controls, 8-speaker Bose sound system, 10.25-inch infotainment system and digital instrument cluster.
Hyundai has already confirmed that it plans to launch the new Verna on 21st March 2023. It has already opened the bookings for the new Verna. The new Verna will rival the new Honda City facelift, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia and Maruti Ciaz.
