2023 Kia Seltos to get more features
Kia’s debutant model in India, the Seltos also holds the crown of top-selling Kia car in India. The car also holds the second position in the export market (as of January’23) making it one of the most beloved products from the brand. The car comes packed with all features, gets varied powertrains and is also priced sedately. Therefore, Kia now wants to mount the Seltos momentum by bringing the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift. 2023 Kia Seltos facelift – New turbo petrol!
The major update on the new facelift model is the addition of 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. With the implementation of BS6 Phase 2 norms around the corner, Hyundai-Kia is set to discontinue the existing 1.4-litre turbo petrol. This is likely to be replaced by a new 1.5-litre turbo that has debuted on the Hyundai Alcazar. The South Korean automaker is planning to assemble this new mill in the country to keep the costs and prices in check. The power figures of this engine could be around 157bhp and 253Nm of torque. Transmission options could include a manual and a 7-DCT gearbox.
2023 Kia Seltos facelift – Design changes!
The Seltos has always looked attractive with its sleek bodywork. Now the updated car has enhanced its looks with a much sharper looking front look. The front of the car is dominated by the tiger nose grille in the middle of redesigned headlamps. It gets a front skid plate and redesigned bumpers with a front skid plate. Moving to the sides not much has differed but we now have an updated design for the alloys. Moving to the rear, we can immediately spot the connecting LED strip for the rear tail lamps which also annexes the Kia logo in it. Other than this, the rear now appears more SUVish with prominent skid plates and a muscular tailgate.
2023 Kia Seltos facelift – Features and launch
The interiors of the Seltos facelift are also rejuvenated with minor tweaks on the layout. However, the interior equipment list has been mounted with a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, new rotary-styled gear knob and many more. The car is also expected to get ADAS, more safety features, a surround-view camera, and more. What about the launch?
