The upcoming 7-seater is the new Citroen C3 AirCross which has been spotted testing on Indian roads. Codenamed the ‘CC24’, this new car possesses the signature Citroen design language. Though the car was in heavy camouflage, we could spot the indistinguishable Citroen front look with a split headlamp setup and other design iterations which we see on C5 AirCross and C3. Moreover, this one also shares the same CMP platform which underpins the C3. This depicts a high chance of it being similar to the C3 in terms of looks. But, with a bigger wheelbase and space to imbibe the 3rd row. The overall design has been kept muscular with flared wheel haunches, body cladding, etc to make it look like an SUV.

So, we might expect a decent third row with interior features like an auto-dimming IRVM, wireless charging, reverse parking camera, rear charging ports, etc.

The powertrain option on this new MPV could be none-other than the 1.2-litre turbo petrol which we see on the C3. Due to the extra length and more carrying capacity, this boils down to being the only adequate option on the car. Talking about this engine, produces 109bhp and 190Nm of torque. Transmission options are currently limited to a 6-speed MT but we might see a torque converter as well.
