Now a Japanese manufacturer could join the party with its newest SUV. Which manufacturer are we talking about? We are talking about Honda, which is coming with its newest SUV. In January, Honda teased the Honda Creta size SUV for the first time. From the teaser, it was clear that this is a completely new SUV designed for the Indian market. talking about the design, we can spot a muscular design with eyebrow DRLs and fog lamps placed below them. 

A 7-seater version

According to earlier reports, Honda is studying the feasibility to add a third row in its upcoming mid-size SUV. This mid-size SUV is the one Honda has teased. Honda plans to do so to help target the booming 7-seater SUV market in the country. If that happens it will be quite a proactive move from the Japanese manufacturer.

This SUV is expected to be based on a modified version of the Amaze platform. As for engine specs, this SUV is rumoured to come with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol as seen on the City Hybrid. Transmission options could include a manual and CVT on the normal petrol, while the hybrid could come with an e-CVT gearbox. Feature-wise, we can expect features like a big infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats etc.
