Elon Musk is a figure we don’t need to give a separate introduction about. As a personality, he is known for his outspoken nature. We also know his outbursts on Twitter. Though he has done a lot of things. There are also several things which he has said but have never come to fruition. In today’s article, let’s talk about the lies of Elon Musk.

FSD claims

Elon Musk lies

Elon Musk has been quite a vocal supporter of autonomous driving technology. Tesla calls it Full Self-Driving (FSD) and Musk in 2016 stated that fully autonomous driving cars will be a reality in the next two years. Since then it has passed multiple deadlines. Even now the technology is not completely flawless and we don’t know when will it be used for public use. Tesla and Elon Musk are facing several lawsuits in the USA due to their FSD claims.

Elon Musk lies

The Cybertruck is Tesla’s pickup option. It was first announced in 2019 with Elon Musk promising deliveries in 2021. However, that thing has not materialised even now. As of July 2022, the start of production is estimated to be in 2023.

Roadster launch

Elon Musk lies

Like the Cybertruck, the launch of the Roadster has not yet happened. The Roadster was first mentioned as early as 2014, it was stated to be the successor of the first-generation Roadster. In 2017, Elon Musk claimed that the car would enter production in 2020. Even in 2023, the car is nowhere to be seen.

Elon Musk lies – Semi-truck deliveries

Elon Musk lies

The Semi-truck is Tesla’s electrified tractor-trailer. The Semi-truck was first shown off in 2017 with deliveries promised in the next two years. In April 2020, Tesla officially pushed the delivery date back to 2021. After that, it was pushed back again. Now Tesla has started deliveries of that semi-truck but with a twist. Tesla has only delivered semi-trucks to PepsiCo. Till now Tesla has only delivered 36 units, which is quite less.
