The Harrier has been Tata’s shining jewel in its big SUV lineup. It marked Tata’s re-entry into this segment and also gave Tata the confidence to bring back the Safari nameplate. Now the Harrier hasn’t received any major update since its launch in 2019. People have been waiting for the Harrier facelift. At the Expo, we finally got a glimpse of things the Harrier facelift could look like in its update. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Tata Harrier facelift features.

ADAS

ADAS or Advanced Driver Assistance System is quickly becoming a norm in this segment. The XUV700 started the trend and now even the MG Hector gets it. So Tata had to respond and the Harrier Dark red edition had the ADAS module at the front. According to Tata, it will come with 10 safety features including Autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot detection etc.

Bigger infotainment system

One of the biggest weaknesses of the current Harrier is its 7-inch infotainment system. The screen has always looked out of place in a car like the Harrier. Now finally, the Harrier facelift could come with a 12-inch infotainment system. We did see the 10-inch system on the Harrier Dark Red edition, but according to our sources, the facelift is sure to come with a 12-inch unit.

Tata Harrier facelift features – 360-degree camera

A 360-degree camera is a must-have feature in such big SUVs. It is sorely missed in the current model and people have been asking for it for a long time. The Harrier Dark red edition had a 360-degree camera. The quality of the camera was good even though it was not the final version.

Digital instrument cluster

The Harrier currently gets an analogue dial with the MID screen in the middle. In the facelift, we could finally see a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster. A digital instrument cluster is easier to read and also provides more information than a traditional analogue setup. This cluster will give the Harrier interior a more modern outlook.

Tata Harrier facelift features – Powered driver seat

The Tata Harrier Dark Edition also comes with electric driver seats. In the Harrier Dark Edition, it was a 4-way powered seat and the same could be seen on the Harrier facelift. A powered driver seat provides that extra convenience while adjusting the seat. It really goes well with other convenience features offered in the Harrie facelift.
