Tata Motors has fired up the Auto Expo 2023 with its range of new concept cars. However, Tata didn’t show the much anticipated Harrier and Safari facelifts. Instead, it showed the new dark editions of the Harrier and Safari. So is it another colour job only? No, both dark editions come with a plethora of new features. These features could also come on the facelifted models. In today’s article, let’s talk about Harrier and Safari features.

Dark editions

The Harrier and Safari dark editions come with a plethora of new features. Let’s first start with the Harrier. The Harrier dark Edition gets a 10.25-inch infotainment system, 360-degree camera, red seat upholstery, 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, 4-way powered driver seat with memory function, voice-activated sunroof, ADAS (10 safety features offered), red brake callipers, red accent on the front grille, Red #Dark badging and blacked out Tata logo.

Harrier Safari features

Now let’s talk about Safari. The Safari dark edition gets all the above-mentioned features and some exclusive ones like mood lighting around the sunroof, 6-way powered driver and passenger seats, and electric boss mode.

Harrier Safari features – What else to expect?

Harrier Safari features

The Harrier and Safari facelifts are expected to get all these features. Other than that, we could expect a reworked front and rear design. Tata could give the Harrier facelift a design similar to the Harrier EV. Also, we could see the new 1.5-litre TGDi engine capable of producing 167bhp and 280Nm of torque on the facelifted models. Transmission options could include a manual and an automatic gearbox option.

Launch

Harrier Safari features

Tata has been quite tightlipped about the Harrier and Safari facelifts. However, it will need to bring the facelifted models to take on the competition. We expect Tata to launch the Harrier and Safari facelifts in the second half of 2023.
