Hyundai Ioniq 6 showcased in India!
The Auto Expo 2023 is a great venue for brands to showcase their latest cars. For this year, we can see the brand following the ‘Beyond Mobility World’ theme We are talking about the Nexo fuel cell EV, the newly launched Ioniq 5 and more. Moreover, there’s one more car that has been showcased which is the Ioniq 6. What all does the Hyundai Ioniq 6 get? Lets find out.
Hyundai Ioniq 6 – Design
As the name would suggest, the Ioniq 6 is a successor of the Ioniq 5. The overall design of the car looks futuristic with its fish-eyed headlamp design. Coming to the sides, we can see the cuts and creases does form a curvy silhouette of the car which looks some what similar to Porsche models. The Ioniq 6 gets a drag coefficient of just 0.21. Coming to the rear, we could see the infinite LED taillamp design which adds drama to its minimalist rear design.
Specifications
The Ioniq 6 gets two range options which is derived from a 53kWh and a 77kWh battery pack. The former extracts a range of 429km and the latter gets 614km depending on the drive setup. You also get two drive options: a rear-wheel drive and an all-wheel drive. The all-wheel drive setup makes 320bhp and 605Nm, while the rear-wheel drive setup produces 228bhp and 350Nm.

Being a flagship product from the South Korean automaker, the Ioniq 6 has stayed true to its upmarket value. The car has packed in plenty of new age features that include interactive pixel lights, 12-Inch infotainment unit, USB type C and type A port, digital side mirror (DSM) & integrated dashboard and many more. No doubt it would be enticing to see the Ioniq 6 on roads with all of its future technology.
Pricing
The prime motive behind the showcase of this ca could be to test the response this car is getting. Now that the Ioniq 5 is here, we could expect Hyundai’s EV range to expand sooner or later. This car could be on Hyundai’s list for future launches.
